Namaste Youth Yoga provides the highest quality yoga classes to children and teenagers in an effort to support them to navigate life. While having a great time each participant will build strength, balance and flexibility in body and mind.
Our yoga classes consist of the physical practice of yoga poses as well as mindfulness, meditation, breathing techniques, visualisation and relaxation.
Yoga classes for our younger age groups are primarily fun with engaging warm ups, yoga poses in an adventure story, yoga games and imaginative visualisations and meditations.
Our yoga classes for teenagers focus on practicing and perfecting the yoga poses and sequences while offering more relaxation, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra and are a perfect way for each teenager to look after their own physical and mental well-being.
Yoga is a wonderful way to relieve stress. It offers a safe place to connect with yourself, a chance to see what is important, what is necessary and what can be let go of. Children and teenagers who practice yoga, mindfulness, meditation and relaxation techniques will develop important skills for a lifetime of health and wellness in mind, body and spirit.
Yoga is over 5,000 years old and people have long been turning to the practice of yoga to ease their stress levels so it is no surprise that yoga is increasingly important and beneficial now during the COVID-19 pandemic and it's aftermath.
Namaste Youth Yoga classes for various age groups are offered at the Ennis Yoga Studio on Saturdays during School term. Yoga Workshops, Retreats and Camps are organised during School Holidays and Bank Holiday Weekends. We also take bookings to bring The Namaste Youth Yoga programme to Creches, National Schools, Secondary Schools and Sports Clubs.
