Our Namaste Youth Yoga Camps, Mini Camps and Workshops have been hugely popular.
Yoga can be so easily weaved into games, crafts, nature, partner and group fun, stories, breathing, relaxation, music, song, dance, circle time and seasonal themes.
Our first camps were run by Zara Madden Kent in Summer 2016. All camps sold out very quickly. The themes for camps included; 'Spring into Nature', 'Exploring the Chakras' and 'Ocean Fun'. We went on day trips to Lees Road Park, enjoyed outdoor yoga in the sun, created masterpieces of art and friendship bracelets. We visited Clare Museum and the Fairgreen in Ennis and everyone had lots of fun and memories and friendships were made.
In 2023 we were delighted to have Leilani Kent, Zara's daughter begin assisting at our Namaste Youth Yoga Summer Camps and Yoga Classes. As a child Leilani had been taking her mother's yoga classes from the start. She then began her own yoga teacher training journey by first becoming her Mother's Yoga Teaching Apprentice and then going off to complete her own Children's Yoga Teacher Training Course to become fully certified. At only 18 years of age Leilani became one of the youngest qualified Children's Yoga Teachers in the country. By 2025 Leilani had also taken Pilates Teacher Training and gained her Certification to teach Mat Pilates, again being one of the youngest teachers to hold this certification in the country. Leilani now teaches all the Saturday Namaste Youth Yoga Classes and The Teen Yogalates (a mix of Yoga and Pilates) at The Ennis Yoga Studio.

Our Namaste Youth Yoga Camps are a lovely combination of physical yoga, sports such as soccer and frisbee and old school yard games mixed with the creativity of arts and crafts and topped off with mindfulness, meditation and relaxation to really nurture the body and mind.
The camps are open to children from age 4 to 12 years old and run from 10am-2pm over 5 days.
The children love the calmness and beautiful serenity of the fabulous Ennis Yoga Studio. Yoga time in nature and nature crafts are also a big hit, so whenever weather allows, we move the yoga camp into the great outdoors.
