Barefield N.S. WEDNESDAYS 1:50pm-2:50pm After-School Yoga Programme (Only available to students in Junior and Senior Infants at Barefield N.S)

The emphasis of this class is on Fun. We encourage self-expression to build confidence as well as social skills. While having a great time, children will strengthen their bodies, improve their flexibility and learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques. 

Each class consists of settling in through basic breath work, meditation and restful relaxation followed by engaging and age appropriate warm ups or sun salutations, yoga poses (often presented in an adventure story) a yoga game and a relaxation or visualisation. Children will soon know sun salutations and yoga poses to practice at home.

Children should wear comfortable clothing appropriate for ease of movement and also bring a bottle of water. 

 This is a block of 8 yoga classes at a cost of €80. After-School Yoga Class dates are Wednesdays, September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th and October 7th, 14th and 21st.
