The emphasis of this class is on Fun, Fun and Fun. We encourage self-expression to build confidence as well as social skills. While having a great time, children will strengthen their bodies, improve their flexibility and learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques.
Each class consists of settling in through basic breath work and meditation, engaging and age appropriate warm ups or sun salutations, yoga poses (often presented in an adventure story) a yoga game and a relaxation or visualisation. Children will soon know sun salutations and yoga poses to practice at home.
Children should wear comfortable clothing appropriate for ease of movement and also bring and a bottle of water.
This is a block of 10 yoga classes at a cost of €100. Class dates are Saturday, January 10th, 17th, 24th, February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, March 7th, 14th and 21st.
Please note that there is no yoga class on Saturday, January 31st for The Bank Holiday Weekend.
