The emphasis of this class is on Fun, Fun and Fun. We encourage self-expression to build confidence as well as social skills. While having a great time, children will strengthen their bodies, improve their flexibility and learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques.
Each class consists of settling in through basic breath work and meditation, engaging and age appropriate warm ups or sun salutations, yoga poses (often presented in an adventure story) a yoga game and a relaxation or visualisation. Children will soon know sun salutations and yoga poses to practice at home.
Children should wear comfortable clothing appropriate for ease of movement and also bring and a bottle of water.
This is a block of 6 yoga classes at a cost of €60. Class dates are Saturday, April 18th, 25th, May 9th, 16th, 23rd and June 6th.
Please note that there is no yoga classes on Saturdays, May 2nd and May 30th for The May and June Bank Holiday Weekends.
